Thank you for participating in our Q2 2016 film sale. Scroll down for a new list of films available for purchase. Films on this page can sell quickly; they are sold on a first-come basis. The story: These 16mm films no longer fit into our archival focus and we need the space for a large number of films that are arriving soon. They are terrific for enhancing collections of current film archives and libraries, rounding out collector inventory, or great for starting your own film library. Many items in the sale are typical of what you would’ve found in a public library circulating film collections, including feature films, documentaries, and series. If you are looking for more information on the titles, please consult databases such as IMDb or WorldCat. The caveats: 1) We have listed condition as we can best describe it. Films may have some
splices or may be perfect, but all are showable. Color varies. Ordering info: Send us an email to reserve your film(s). We will give you the total price, including shipping, and hold them for 4 days pending receipt of your money order. The following 16mm films are available for purchase: - Death of a Salesman (1951) 115m, dir. Laslo Benedek. $75. -Escapade (1957) 105m, b&w dir. Ralph Habib. Features Louis Jourdan and Dany Carrel from the novel by Cornell Woolrich. Jazz violinist Stephane Grapelli appears in the background as a club musician. $50. |
